Ganesh Visarjan Festival & Immersion at Sea on SUN 12th SEP 9am-3pm
The most popular, colourful and divine event of the year, Ganesh Visarjan will be celebrated with poojas, stalls, cultural programs, foods, children's activities, procession with drumming and singing of ‘Ganpathy Bappa Morya’ to Stanwell Park Beach & the final immersion at 3pm!
Special Invitation to children: Children are taught clay Ganesa making with Colouring from 10am-1pm. If you’ve already made Ganesa idols, pls bring them along to install within the temple, perform the poojas & take them to the beach for immersion (parents to provide supervision)
SUN 12th SEP: Sri Ganesh Pooja (8am-2pm) Maha Ganapathy Moola Mantra Trisathi Homam, Abhishekam, Deeparadhana etc. followed by Procession at 2pm.
Visarjan at Sea 3pm..All are Welcome. To avoid traffic, use Free Temple Bus from 1.30pm!
Transport arrangements for Ganesh Visarjan on Sunday 12 September 2010 are as follows:
Special Bus Services available from Homebush (8.45am, from Homebush Primary School located on the corner of Rochester St and The Crescent), then Strathfield Railway Station (southside at 9.00am), to Helensburgh..same bus returns, departing Stanwell Beach at 4pm. Return Return fare only $10..book now with Mr. Dharmapalan PH: 9649 4507
Also FREE shuttle Bus Service from Helensburgh Railway Station to Temple & back througout the day.
Also Free Bus from Temple to Stanwell Beach & back, Buses leave Temple from 1.30pm..for Visarjan at the Sea 3pm.
Bring your Drums/Trumpets/Bells & Chant Ganpathy Bappa Morya for final procession!
