SVT invites you to organize your next private or public religious functions and festivals at the temple!

SVTemple, Helensburgh is blessed with a large hall in both temples, beautiful outdoor area, modern kitchen, car park, Kalyana Mandap, outdoor stage facilities and a great canteen.  It is surrounded by National Parks, Wildlife Parks, amazing beaches/coastline and a scenic drive to W'gong, all of which make it an ideal weekend venue for family functions. So why not plan your next event at SVT, Helensburgh?

Besides the facilities, we provide full support to ensure your event's success, from Liability Insurance, Priests, Kalyana Mandapam, sound systems, community kitchen and catering (internal or external), purpose built tents (Marqee) to accomodate upto 600 guests, free car park (400+)  to make your event easy to organize and run at low costs.

So, why use the temple? Simply because this is your temple and your family and friends are welcome to use it anytime! Besides, it is a previledge for us to host you & a blessing for you to bring the family in the divine atmosphere of the temple. The proceeds go to temple upkeep & services as non-profit org.

Many community or public functions, be it cultural or prayers such as Maathru Devo Bhava (Mother's Day), Sri Sankara Jayanthi, Annamacharya Jayanthi etc. are held at SVT with organisers enjoying fullest support. Why not we work as a team to program & run your next event at SVT? We only require that functions are Hindu Religious or Spiritual in nature and in keeping with Temple’s sanctity.

Privately also, many families have chosen to conduct their weddings & other special private occasions at SVT. We perform Hindu/Vedic marriage in divine settings, conducted by our Priests, according to your regional custom, in a beautifully decorated Kalyana Mandap with homam fire, in front of your favourite deity, Shiva/Parvathi or Vishnu/Mahalakshmi to bless the couple. What a great way to conduct the wedding of your loved ones. The outdoor area provides for catering and entertainment for upto 600 people in a special purpose-built marqee. Families also conduct smaller private events such as Engagements, Child Birth (First birthday), Valakappu, Elder’s 60/70/80th birthday or simply Kalyana Utsavams with friends to say Thanks to the Lord. Besides the temple, soon-to-be-built Education Centre will accomodate upto 400 guests in a covered hall, making this multi-purpose!

Even Kids' birthday parties can be held at SVT!  Why not bring your kids & their friends to SVT, show them around the temple, teach them why/how to worship the Deities, perform skits based on the epics (Ramayana/Mahabharata), Chant Slokas/Prayers, then drive to scenic beaches nearby to give them an outdoor experience? Temple provides clean, healthy vegetarian food for the body and a divine experience for the mind. What a wonderful change for the kids it will be from a hyperactive party at an expensive junk food joint!
