Lord Ganesha always dressed in white represents purity. He is omnipresent with grey complexion like that of ash glowing with spiritual splendour. I meditate on the God who can destroy all obstacles whether material or spiritual.
As in the past years, Ganesh Visarjan is being celebrated at SVT with a day long festivities comprising of Rituals, Procession of deities around the Temple premises, cultural activities / entertainment and Visarjan of Clay Ganesha idol in the ocean at Stanwell Park beach.
Programme Details:
Date : Sunday the 24th September 2023.
07.30 am – Kalasa Pooja
07.45 am – Ganapathy Moola Mantra Trisathi Homam & Visesha Maha Poornahuthi.
10.00 am – Visesha Abhishekam, Alankaram and Sodashobachara Deeparadhanai.
12.00 pm – Procession around the Temple.
02.00 pm – Procession to Stanwell Park beach.
03.15 pm – Visarjan at the beach.
Join the Grand procession of the Lord around the Temple and at the beach with over 40 drummers / dancers of “Shiva Garjana Team” in the lead.
09.30 am – Sale of SAREES:- Sarees, that adorned the deities are being offered to devotees to purchase and be blessed.
CULTURAL POROGRAMMES: There will be plenty of traditional Dance & Classical Singing commencing at 10.00am, which are bound to be eye-catching and music to the ears of the connoisseurs of this form of rendition.
VARIETY OF FOOD STALLS: To satisfy your taste buds, there will be additional outlets serving culinary of different varieties.
