RESPECTFUL HOMAGE
It is with very heavy heart; we wish to inform you the sudden demise of our esteemed President Sri.Ramachandran Natarajan Iyer, who until his last breath was thinking and working for the Temple. He spent his last day fine tuning our next issue of “Saptagiri”. He personally handed over the copy of the issue to the printer and informed her that he would want them to be ready the following day. He made sure that, everything was done properly and on time.
For those who may not know him or have come in to contact recently: – he was one of the seventeen families that contributed to the purchase of the land on which the Temple now stands. Since the early days of the beginning of a dream to have a Hindu Temple in this land, he worked tirelessly, until his last breath for the fulfillment of that dream he shared with others. He held many key positions in the Temple Association, including that of “Treasurer” and “Vice President”.
He was elected as “President” in 2018 and was responsible for the conversion of the Association in to a Not for Profit Charitable Company, limited by Guarantee. In the process, he oversaw the drafting of a new Constitution for the Company, which was adopted unanimously by other members.
Not only Mr.Natarajan Iyer worked for the Temple. His wife Nandini, Son Naresh and daughter Nisha also worked tirelessly for the Temple’s development and growth.
His demise has left a huge Vacuum in the hearts of all our members, employees, volunteers and devotees.
May his soul attain the supreme bliss of Moksha.
