Shri Mahalakshmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune, fertility and auspiciousness holds the promise of material fulfillment and contentment. As Bhoodevi, the earth-goddess, she nurtures life and as Shreedevi, the goddess of fortune, she bestows well-being and prosperity on those who worship her. Shri Mahalakshmi Pooja is auspicious to be performed during the holy month of Shravan “Aadi’. And this year we are celebrating it on Sunday the 31st July 2022.
Event Schedule:
09.30 AM – Mahalakshmi Abhishekam and Alankaram
11.00 AM – Samuhika Mahalakshmi Pooja (collectively performed by devotees)
Please bring along a large Plate (brass or silver tambalam), a Lamp* (optionl) and a Coconut with tuft (fibre) intact, a “Uddhrani” (cup) for water + a Lamp.
All other ritual materials will be provided by the Temple.
